What is a Podcast?

A podcast is like Netflix for your ears. It’s radio on demand and there are a TON of themed shows to choose from—and they are all FREE. You can access podcasts simply by downloading an app to your phone. You can find Read Me Romance by searching for it in the app.

Each week, Read Me Romance brings you free audiobooks including teasers of already published audios. Every episode is numbered so you can access them in order or jump in with the most recent episodes.

Every phone has the capability to subscribe and download podcasts, so the user can listen to an episode whenever they want. Here are explanations for how to access podcasts on your particular device.

iPhone

Download the podcast app here: Podcasts app. One the app has downloaded to your phone, open the app and search for Read Me Romance.

Tap ‘Subscribe’ on top of the Read Me Romance page. When you subscribe to a podcast, iTunes will automatically check each day for new episodes.

To play a podcast, tap on any episode. To download an episode, tap the iCloud icon in the episode list. You can manage your subscriptions and play podcast episodes in My Podcasts.

Mac or PC

The podcast directory in the iTunes Store allows you to find and subscribe to new podcasts. To subscribe to a podcast, click Subscribe on the page for that podcast. When you subscribe to a podcast, iTunes will automatically check each day for new episodes.

You can also stream an individual episode from the iTunes Store by clicking its episode number in the episode list.

You can manage your podcast subscriptions and play the episodes you have downloaded in the Podcasts section of your iTunes library.

Android

Open the Google Play store from your Home screen or from the app drawer.

Search Podcasts.

Download the podcast provider of your choice. Try Google Podcasts or Stitcher. This app is where your new podcast episodes will be available every day. 

Once you’ve chosen an app and downloaded it, open the app and search for Read Me Romance.

Tap on Read Me Romance.

Tap the Subscribe button.

Now you’re ready to listen!

Once you’ve subscribed, click the three lines in the top left hand corner. From this drop down menu, you can navigate to the podcasts to which you’ve subscribed or find the latest episodes.
